ProActivators ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ProActivators mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

When you use the ProActivators App, we collect the following information:

• Account Information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Journal Entries: Text and voice recordings you create within the App, including which life pillar (Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, Focus, Fulfillment) each entry is associated with.
• Voice Recordings: Audio recordings you make for journal entries. These are transcribed using a third-party service (OpenAI Whisper) and stored securely.
• Focus Tasks: Tasks you create, schedule, and complete within the App.
• Devotional Interactions: Your engagement with daily devotionals, including reflections and prayers.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including streak data, pillar engagement, and time spent in different sections.
• Device Information: Your device type, operating system, and timezone for delivering notifications and personalizing your experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide AI Coaching: Your journal entries, engagement patterns, and preferences are used to generate personalized coaching responses from Coach Gabe, our AI coaching system powered by Anthropic's Claude. Coach Gabe uses your history to provide relevant, contextual guidance — not generic advice.
• Generate Personalized Devotionals: If you use the Faith pillar, we use your activity and journal history to create daily devotionals tailored to your current life circumstances.
• Track Your Progress: Streak tracking, pillar engagement, and insights help you see your consistency and growth over time.
• Send Notifications: Reminders for journaling, focus tasks, streak maintenance, and daily devotionals based on your notification preferences.
• Improve the App: We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the App's features and performance.

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with enterprise-grade security. All data is protected by Row Level Security, meaning you can only access your own data. Voice recordings are stored in secure cloud storage with restricted access.

AI Processing

Your journal entries and related context are processed by AI services (Anthropic Claude for coaching responses, OpenAI Whisper for voice transcription) to provide personalized features. These services process your data to generate responses but do not store your data permanently or use it to train their models.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your data is only shared with the following third-party services that are necessary to operate the App:

• Supabase: Database and authentication provider
• Anthropic (Claude): AI coaching responses
• OpenAI (Whisper): Voice transcription
• Expo: Push notifications

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: View all data stored about you within the App.
• Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
• Export your data: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Modify your data: Edit your profile, journal entries, tasks, and preferences at any time within the App.
• Opt out of notifications: Disable any or all notifications in your Profile settings.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all your data — including journal entries, coach messages, voice recordings, tasks, streaks, and devotionals — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

The ProActivators App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Row Level Security on all database tables, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
